Arterial hypertension

Hypertension is a truly widespread disease: In Germany, 25 percent of all adults and half of those 60 years and older suffer from elevated blood pressure. Since hypertension is often symptom-free, a large percentage of those suffering from it have no idea that they deserve antihypertensive treatment. A continuously elevated blood pressure can cause severe damage to the heart, the kidneys, the brain, the eyes and the blood vessels. People suffering from hypertension have a reduced life expectancy compared with the rest of the population. The best possible therapy can reduce this risk of an early mortality.

In Prof. Kaden's office, we offer a well-structured program to diagnose und treat high blood pressure that is based on the guidelines published by international medical and cardiologic societies. We’ll make sure that your blood pressure gets optimal treatment.
